Diana Papas

I am writer of short stories and novellas. My work often re-imagines traditions of my Greek cultural heritage. I have a particular interest in poetic responses to the visual arts. Two of my stories are published in Southerly (2015 and 2017) and one will be published in the next issue of Meniscus literary journal. I was recently awarded the Elizabeth M Liggins Prize in English and Medieval Studies at Macquarie University. I am currently a PhD candidate and my project involves a fiction novella set in the late Byzantine period.
