Emily Munro-Harrison

Emily is a Wiradjuri woman, who grew up and lives on unceded Kulin Country in Narrm. A member of the Blak Writers Group in Melbourne, her creative writing includes poetry, micro-fiction and creative non-fiction. In 2018 she participated in the Collective Spirit: First Nation Poetry Residency, and the Emerging Writers Festival, and Yirramboi in 2017. Her interests include concepts of youth justice, gender and Indigeneity. Some other stuff she does includes running a cultural support program she co-founded for Aboriginal men in prison, trying to finish a PhD, and working as a researcher.
