Manisha Anjali is a writer and performer who draws from mysticism, folklore and science fiction. Manisha is the creator of The Neptune podcast, an otherworldly interview series with artists and writers about dreams, visions and hallucinations. Her debut poetry collection, Sugar Kane Woman, meditates on magic, violence and Indo-Fijian exile. Manisha has performed at Melbourne Writers Festival, Queensland Poetry Festival, Bendigo Writers Festival and Newstead Short Story Tattoo. Manisha has been a Writer in Residence at Incendium Radical Library, a Hot Desk Fellow at The Wheeler Centre and an Emerging Cultural Leader at Footscray Community Arts Centre.
